Notes	Kashnor notes, "Shows California as an island,the western coast terminating at 'The suppos'd Strait of Anian' with the following note 'These parts being as yet undiscovered, 'tis not certain whether America joins to the North-Eastern part of Tartary, whence it is most probable that it was peopled, being suppos'd to be separated, if at all, but by narrow straits." This map duplicates 093:178M except for the dedication, which is lacking on this copy. See also 105:242M for a later copy.
