Historical Note	The recruitment drive is for the 11th Regiment of Pennsylvania Cavalry. It was organized at Philadelphia as an independent regiment, “Harlan’s Light Cavalry,” between August and October 1861 and designated as the 11th Cavalry on November 13, 1861. The men were mustered out of service in Richmond in August 1865.
