Label hinged to brown paper overprinted with red lattice design; indicates that label was pasted to outside of inventory envelope in Schmidt company files and used to identify contents. [DHM] "Oct 13 1944"--text, upper left and lower left, stamped in purple ink. "#2208--text, upper left and lower left, ms in black ink. Grapefruit"--text, lower left to right. "From the famous / Coachella Valley / Gardens / Packed by / Coachella Valley / Packing Co. / Indio, Calif. / U.S.A."--text, on blue banner in lower right corner. "Schmidt Litho.
