"Yorba Linda, / California."--text, bottom left. "Grown & packed by / The Yorba Linda Citrus Assn."--text, bottom right. "Schmidt Litho. Co. L.A."--text, bottom right margin. "Yorba Linda / June 28-1927 / Dear Mother & Alfred, Am expressing you this 1/2 bx of oranges and lemons, and hope they will reach you in time that you may have them the 4th. Now these are the smallest oranges I ever sent you, but they are thin skinned and very fine quality with a wonderful flavor. Let me know if these reach you all O.K. Happy 4th to you [Billy ?]. If Russ and Mildred come down better give them some of these. Your son, [COP ?]"--text, verso, ms in pencil.
